Doctoral Training at the CUNY Graduate Center

 

Dr. Golub is faculty in the Basic and Applied Social Psychology (BASP) PhD program in the Psychology Department of the CUNY Graduate Center.

The Basic and Applied Social Psychology (BASP) PhD Program trains students in the theories, principles, and research methods relevant to the conduct of social psychological research. The primary goal of the training program is to produce rigorous, competent, and creative researchers who are well-versed in the traditional canon of social psychology, but can apply this knowledge to engage with innovative questions and pursuits. BASP is committed to cultivating inclusion, connectedness, and social justice in our program culture, in our science, and in its applied impact.

An internationally recognized center for advanced studies and a national model for public doctoral education, the Graduate Center is the doctoral degree granting institution of City University of New York (CUNY) and offers over thirty doctoral programs in the arts, humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. Doctoral students working with Dr. Golub receive training in a broad variety of research methods and participate fully in the work of her lab.

Dr. Golub is accepting new students for the Fall 2023. The deadline for application to the PhD program is December 1, 2022.
