Institute for implementation science in population health
The CUNY Institute for Implementation Science in Population Health (ISPH) is a CUNY-wide initiative that brings together multidisciplinary teams of researchers to conduct impactful, cutting edge research on population health and related outcomes, including programmatic and service delivery implementation, and clinical interventions. Dr. Golub is one of the ISPH investigators, and works with the Institute to fulfill its mission and goals.
The CUNY Institute for Implementation Science in Population Health (ISPH) was founded on the notion that substantial improvements in population health can be efficiently achieved through better implementation of existing strategies, policies, and interventions across multiple sectors. With that in mind, we study how to translate and scale-up evidence-based interventions and policies within clinical and community settings in order to improve population health and reduce health disparities. The central mission of the CUNY ISPH is to translate research into sustainable, cost effective population level interventions, strategies, initiatives and policies that have the potential to improve health on a large scale and reduce health disparities around the world.
